INGREDIENTS :
Chicken Drumsticks 5 nos
Ginger Garlic Chilli Paste – 3 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Fresh Curd / yogurt 1 cup
Kashmiri Red Chilli powder 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Butter 1 tbs
Green Chillis sliced
julian Ginger
Oil 1tbs

Process :
– wash drumsticks well
– make paste of ginger 1 inch , garlic 15 cloves and 3 dry red chillis
– add ginger , garlic and dry chilli paste to the chicken
– add curd, black pepper , salt , kashmiri red chilli powder
– mix well
– marinate for 2 hrs . Can marinate for upto 12 hrs in the refrigerator .
– Heat 1 tbs oil in a pan .
– add marinated chicken drumsticks without marinade to the pan ( keep aside leftover marinade for later use )
– cook for 2 min on medium flame in open pan
– after 2 min , flip all the drumsticks
– cook for another 2 min on medium flame
– after 2 min reduce flame to low cover and cook for 5-7 min
-after 5 min , flip sides . Cover & cook till the chicken drumsticks are soft and cooked well
– take out chicken drumsticks
– add leftover marinade to the pan
– add butter and cook for 5 min
– add sliced green chillis & julian ginger
– butter comes on the surface , gravy is ready
– press and add drumsticks to the gravy
– mix well
– cook on high flame till gravy dries up
– Tangdi Chatkara is ready 🙂
