Butter Chicken is one of the most famous Chicken Recipes. It is a ‘must order’ dish when we place an order at the Indian restaurants. Follow this simple recipe to enjoy the authentic taste of Butter chicken at home.

I have taken 500gm boneless chicken.
chicken to be cut as small pieces as shown
Add 1 tablespoon Chilli powder, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder,1/4 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/4 teaspoon Fenugreek leaves, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, 1 teaspoon mustard oil and salt.
Mix these well and marinate for an hour.
While waiting for these, we prepare the gravy.
Add oil into a heated pan
Add one sliced onion and saute
Add 6 sliced tomato, 50 gm cashew nut, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1 1/2tablespoon Kashmere chilli powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, and 1 teaspoon vinegar. Saute this well
Add water to this and mix well.
When the water starts to boil, add salt.
Cook this well in a low flame.
Pan grill the marinated chicken.
Do not make the chicken hard. It should be slightly grilled outside and juicy inside.
The chicken and the gravy are equally important in butter chicken.
The onion and tomato are cooked well.
When it cools down, fine paste this.
Now we prepare the butter chicken
Add oil into a heated pan
Add chopped ginger (small piece) and garlic(4 no)
Add 1 teaspoon butter to this
Saute the ginger garlic well.
Add 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 pinch of turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon kashmere chilli powder and saute well.
Add tomato puree to this and mix well
Rinse the mixed jar and add this water also to the gravy.
Boil this for 5 minutes on low flames so that the gravy will be cooked well.
Add the grilled chicken to this and mix well.
Once it starts to get boiled add chopped coriander leaves.
Add 1 tablespoon butter, 1/4 teaspoon Kasthuri methi, 3 tablespoon double cream and 1 teaspoon honey.
Mix these well and boil it.
Spread a pinch of garam masala and cumin powder.
Add salt and mix well
The gravy should be in a thick consistency
Butter chicken ready.
Transfer this into a serving ball
Add chopped coriander leaves and a small amount of double cream on the top.
