Adraki Murg has a yogurt base with prominent ginger flavor. Ginger definitely makes it hot, but it tastes delicious and not at all overpowering. So, if you want to make a different chicken curry from the usual fare which is easy and fast then Ginger Chicken Curry is a must try. Its delicious and best had with rotis. Enjoy.

||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| HOW TO MAKE THE RECIPE ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Ingredients:
CHICKEN – 700gm
GINGER GARLIC PASTE -1 tbsp
CRUSHED CORIANDER – 1 tsp
CUMIN POWDER – 1 tsp
RED CHILLI POWDER – 1 tsp
GREEN CARDAMOM POWDER – ½ tsp
CURD/ DAHI – 1 cup
OIL/ GHEE – ½ cup
CUMIN SEEDS – 2 tsp
TOMATOES BLANCHED, PEELED AND PUREED – 3 NOS.
SALT TO TASTE

Steps of preparation :
• In a mixing bowl take chicken.
• Add curd, elaichi powder, cumin powder, crushed coriander, red chilli powder ,salt, mix well .
• Add ginger garlic paste ,mix well and marinade for 2 hrs.
• Blanch 3 tomatoes n make a puree .
• Heat ½ cup oil/ ghee in a kadhai/ wok.
• Add cumin seeds ,a pinch salt and sauté.
• Add the tomato puree and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
• Add the marinade chicken and stir for 5 minutes on low flame.
• Cover the kadhai/ wok and let it cook on low flame for 20/25 minutes/ till chicken become tender.
• Stir in between.
• Garnish with some ginger Juliennes, green chilli and coriander leaves.
• Serve hot with roti/ steam rice/ naan/ tandoori roti.
