2 Easy low carb dessert recipes and 1 delicious Review!


What’s for dessert? This is a question that I hear DAILY! LOL I love to try all kinds of dessert recipes but to honest, some are kind of labor intensive! I don’t mind most of the time. I’m sure you agree with me when I say, sometimes I just want to make something fast and EASY but I won’t settle for anything short of DELICIOUS! Well these recipes fit the bill! I hope you’ll give them a try! 🙂

Cinnamon Mug Cake:
3 tbs Almond Flour
2 tbs Powdered Swerve
1 Egg
1 1/2 tbs Melted Butter
1 1/2 tbs Sour Cream
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Baking Powder

Directions:
In a mug, melt the butter and then add in all other ingredients. With a small whisk or fork mix all of the ingredients. Microwave for 90 seconds or until the batter is nice and fluffy. If you notice that your cake is still a little wet after the 90 seconds, microwave again for 10 second intervals or until the cake is fully cooked. Enjoy! Disclaimer *Be careful, the mug and cake will be very hot!*

Carmelized Pork Rinds and Pecans:
2 tbs butter
1/2 cp Brown Sugar Swerve
3 tbs Heavy Cream
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cps raw pecans
2 cps Pork Rinds

Directions:
Brown butter in a pan on medium heat, once the butter is browned add in the heavy cream and mix. Take the pan off of the heat and add in your vanilla. Put the pan back on the heat and add in your pecans, toss in the caramel and then add in your pork rinds. Be careful to lower heat as to not burn the caramel. Once everything is coated in caramel, pour it al on a piece of parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Let cool and then ENJOY!
