Butter chicken recipe is extremely popular and is an excellent companion for naan rotis and rice.
So today let’s make the butter chicken masala in INDIAN STYLE.
INGREDIENTS:
500 g – chicken
for marination
turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
chilli powder – 1 tbsp
coriander powder – 1/2 tbsp
chicken masala – 1 tbsp
salt to taste
curd 1/2 cup
marinate 10 – 15 mins
for gravy
chopped onion – 2
tomato paste – 1
ginger garlic paste – 3 tsp
chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
chicken masala – 1/2 tsp
butter – 3 tsp
DIRECTION:
STEP 1: To marinate the chicken.
After nicely washed the chicken; add turmeric powder followed by chilli powder, coriander powder and chicken masala. Add salt to your taste. Lastly add 1/2 cup curd and mix well. Marinate for 15 mins
STEP 2: preparing gravy
After 15 mins of marinating; take pan, add oil and boil it. Add some fennel seeds abd chopped onion. Fry it well till onion becomes golden brown. Add tomato paste abd mix well. Add ginger garlic paste and add the marinated chicekn to it.
Now saute the mixture well. after that add some amount of water. Let it boil.
Finally add butter, coriander leaves and serve it with Naan, Rotis and Rice.
