A Dry Chicken Recipe Popularly Known as Kodi Vepudu or Chicken Vepudu which is found in Andhra Restaurants/Homes.
It is a dish that can be Served as Starter or it can be served in main course with Rice or Roti.

Recipe:
1. 500 gm Chicken (cut into small Pieces)
2. 1 Cinnamon Stick
3. 2 Green Cardamom
4. 5-6 Cloves
5. 7-8 Pepper corns
6. 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
7. 1 tsp Coriander Seeds
8. ½ tsp Fenugreek Seeds
9. 1 tsp Channa Dal
10. 1 tsp Urad Dal
11. ½ tsp Asafoetida
12. 1 Cup grated Coconut
13. ½ Cup Chopped Tomato
14. 1 Cup Chopped Onions
15. 5-6 Garlic Cloves
16. 1-inch Ginger
17. 1 Red-Chilli
18. Curry Leaves
19. 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
20. 1 tsp Red-Chilli Powder
21. 1 tsp Coriander Powder
22. 2-3 Green Chillies
23. Oil
24. Salt
Method:
Take a pan and Dry Roast Cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, peppercorns, Cumin seeds, Coriander Seeds, Urad Dal, Red-chilli, Channa Dal and Fenugreek Seeds till aromatic. Then add in Curry leaves, Grated Coconut, Ginger, Garlic, Onion, Asafoetida and Fry.
Cool it and prepare a smooth paste.
Now mix the masala with 500 gm Chicken, add in Salt, turmeric, chilli, and coriander powder. Then add curry leaves and green chilli mix well.
Marinate for 30 mins .
Now take pan add Oil and then once oil is hot Put chopped onions and Tomatoes. Fry till onions are translucent and then add the marinated chicken and fry for 5 mins over medium flame. Then lower the flame cover and cook for 10-12 mins, Stir in between. Now take out the cover and fry for 8-10 mins uncovered. Once chicken is dry and leaves oil and removes easily from the bone switch-off the gas and serve.
