Cake Rusk:

INGREDIENTS

Eggs 7 gm
Sugar 375 gm
Oil 250 gm
Flour 350 gm
Baking powder 1 tsp
Vanilla essence 2 drops
Lemon juice 1 lemon
Water 15 gm

METHOD

In a bowl add eggs, sugar and oil. Beat well until the mixture gets creamy. Then add flour, baking powder, vanilla essence and lemon juice. Mix well. Add water and mix well. Now pour the mixture into 12×12 loaf pan. Then bake it in an oven at 180 c for about 35 minutes. Now remove and slice it like cake rusk. Then place onto a baking tray and bake it again at 100 c for about 20 minutes. Lastly remove, allow it to cool and serve.

Decadence Cake Brownie:

INGREDIENTS

Sugar 130 gm
Oil 65 gm
Yogurt 65 gm
Water 80 gm
Cocoa powder 20 gm
Egg 1
Flour 112 gm
Baking powder 4 gm
Baking soda 4 gm

FOR THE FILLING

Egg yolks 3
Icing sugar 100 gm
Milk 100 gm
Cream 200 gm
Vanilla essence 2 drops
Gelatin powder 7 gm
Warm water as required

FOR THE GANACHE

Cream 200 gm
Chocolate 100 gm

METHOD

In a bowl beat sugar, oil, yogurt and water. Then add egg and beat well. Now add flour, cocoa powder and baking soda. Fold it properly. Then pour the mixture into 7×7 mould and bake it in an oven at 180 c for 30 minutes.

METHOD FOR THE FILLING

Dissolve gelatin powder into a warm water. Then heat oil and add gelatin and icing sugar. Mix well. Now add egg yolks and remove it from the heat. Mix well. Allow this mixture to cool. Then whip the cream well and add vanilla essence. Mix well. Now add this cream into milk mixture and mix properly. Now cut the brownie sponge into layers. On the first layer add milk mixture and spread well. Then place the second layer on top and add the remaining milk mixture. Spread evenly. Now place it in a fridge until set.

FOR THE GANACHE

Mix cream and chocolate. Prepare a chocolate ganache. Lastly decorate the cake brownie with chocolate ganache. Slice it and serve.

Plain Cake:
