Chicken Recipes

Ingredients

Ghee – 60 gm / 4 Tbspn
Butter chicken sauce with chicken pieces – 1kg
( 500g chicken , 500g sauce )
Fried onions – 60 gm / 4 Tbspn
Coriander leaf – 8 strings
Mint leaf – (optional)
Slit green chilli – 6 nos.
Ginger julienne – 45 gm / 3 Tbspn
Boiled egg – 6 nos.
Cooked pilaf rice – 1.5 kg
Water – to sprinkle (4 Tbspn)

METHOD
• In a thick bottom pot pour 2 table spoon of ghee.
• For first layer pour butter chicken sauce with some chicken pieces.
• Arrange a layer of cooked pilaf rice on top.
• Put some fried onions, coriander leaf, slit green chilli, ginger julienne and boiled eggs on top of rice.
• Pour a table spoon of ghee.
• Repeat the same to make second layer.
• Once all layers are done sprinkle some water on top layer.
• Cover the pot with lid and keep it in a high flame for a minute.
• Then cook it in a very low flame for another 15 minutes.
• Then switch off the flame and leave it for another 10 minutes before opening the lid.
• After 10 minutes of resting open the lid and butter chicken biriyani is ready to serve.
• Serve it in a bowl and garnish it with coriander leaf, ginger julienne and fried onions.
