Tandoori Chicken is a popular starter recipe which is originated from the Mughlai cuisine. Basically, this recipe is prepared by roasting chicken marinated with yogurt, spices in a tandoor (cylindrical clay oven). But it can be made in a gas oven or a grill oven.

Ingredients: –
Chicken piece 4nos
Yogurt 5 tbsp
Salt 2 tsp
Turmeric powder ¾ tsp
Red chili powder 2 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Chat masala ½ tsp
Ginger-garlic paste 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Mustard oil 2 tbsp
Kasuri methi 1 tbsp

Preparation:-
Step 1
At first, cut deep slashes into chicken with the help of knife. Then take a large bowl and mix all the ingredients. Now marinate the chicken and keep it aside for at least 6 hrs.

Step 2
Now prepare grill oven and place marinated chicken pieces on the grill rack. Apply butter on the pieces and turn the chicken pieces. Move chicken pieces time to time until the chicken is done.

Now Tandoori Chicken is ready and serve. Enjoy!
