Steph is back with a second series that is based on enjoying more whole foods, packing in our antioxidants & phytonutrients (the substances found in plants that are believed to be beneficial for us humans) celebrating the foods that make us feel good, trying out new ingredients, and bringing a positive mindset into spring.
So, in week 6 of our Spring Clean Steph has made a smoothie recipe –They’re great as an afternoon snack or a quick and easy breakfast and think they’re a great way to get fruit, veg, protein, fibre and healthy fats into the diet. But the reason I’ve included a smoothie in this Spring Clean series is that I feel that people often have smoothies just because they think they’re healthy and not because they actually fancy one. So, Steph has made a Kinder Bueno smoothie – and oh my word it’s delicious. A chocolately delight but jam-packed with protein, healthy fats, veg and fibre.
