Ok so I’ve been on this mango smoothie journey for awhile and I’ve tried a whole bunch of stuff that included trying yogurts, sugars, juice and fruit combinations so I think I have a bit of experience now when I say that this is the best mango smoothie recipe.
Yogurt, for me, has a bit of a tar taste even if it’s plain, while other fruit combinations such as those with banana takes away a bit of the banana flavor. A proper mango shake, such as those in my country, the Philippines, often use condensed milk which in itself has a bit of a strong milk taste. A mango freeze has ice cream and a mango refresher is just juice.
I wanted something that had just mango flavors but with the consistency of a proper shake. And so here’s the best mango smoothie you’ll ever make. It includes 1/2 cup ice, 1 cup full milk, 1 cup fresh chopped mango, and 1/4 cup mango purée. Pour into glass and top with whipped cream and chopped mango. That’s it. That’s the best mango smoothie recipe in the world. =)
