HELLO everyone, today I’m sharing my grandmother’s nihari recipe, its super delicious and very easy to make, this Ramadan try it for sehri, if you like some stew or curry’s for your sehri this is just perfect, you can also make this for lunch or dinner, hope you like it.

INGREDIENTS :
chicken cut into large pieces: 600 gms
onions: 2 medium sized thinly sliced
whole wheat ata: 1 cup approx 100 gms
ginger & garlic paste: 2 tbs heaped
red chili powder: 1 tbs
turmeric powder: 1 tsp
coriander powder: 1 tbs
garam masala powder: 1 tbs
cooking oil: 1 cup
salt to taste
ginger Julians, fresh coriander leaves, green chilies for garnishing
FOR NIHARI SPICE MIX:
fennel seeds: 1 tbs
cumin seeds: 1 tbs
cinnamon sticks 2 pieces
bay leaves: 2 nos
black peppercorns: 1tsp
cloves: 1tsp
green cardamoms: 8-10
