RECIPE:
Ingredients:
Waffle Bowls or Phyllo Dough Shells
1 C. Ricotta Cheese, full fat
1 8oz. Block of Cream Cheese, softened
1 ¼ C. Powdered Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
½ C. Mini Ghirardelli Chocolate Chips
Directions:
1. Mix the ricotta cheese, cream cheese and the powdered sugar together in a medium bowl, adding the sugar a little at a time. Then, mix in the vanilla.
2. Use a spatula to fold in the mini chocolate chips, reserving some to top the dip with just before serving. Add to your display bowl and refrigerate until you’re ready to serve.
3. Break the waffle bowls up into pieces and spread on a plate. Alternatively, you can bake the Phyllo dough according to the instructions on the package and pipe the cannoli dip into each shell to serve. Watch Colleen’s video below for some helpful hints on baking, piping, and serving!
