This Cold Semolina Dessert is perfect for Diwali. It is so simple to make yet so delicious.
Here’s what you will need:
◆ ¾ cups Golden Cloud Semolina
◆ 2 tablespoons milk powder
◆ ¾ cups white granulated sugar
◆ 600ml cold milk
◆ 250ml fresh cream
◆ 2 tablespoons icing (confectionery) sugar
Method:
◆ To a pot on medium heat, add in the Golden Cloud Semolina, milk powder, white granulated sugar & pour in the cold milk.
◆ Mix until the ingredients are well combined.
◆ Stir continuously until the mixture thickens. If not stirred then the mixture will get clumpy. This takes about 3-5 minutes.
◆ Once thickened, transfer to a 20cm casserole.
◆ Spread the semolina mixture out evenly into the casserole & refrigerate for 15 minutes.
◆ In the mean time, grab a bowl & pour in the fresh cream.
◆ Add in the icing (confectionery) sugar & whisk until it forms stiff peaks.
◆ After 15 minutes, the semolina mixture should be set, spoon the whipped cream over & spread out evenly with the back of a spoon
◆ Top it off with chopped pistachios & edible roses.
◆ Slice into squares & enjoy.
