One of my all time fav smoothies, for afternoon tea or dessert. The date + almond butter + miso combo is pure plant-based caramel deliciousness! It’s crazy how good simple plants can taste when mixed up in an ensemble like this.

Takes 5 minutes

Ingredients:
1 banana, sliced & frozen
¾ c plant-based milk
½ c ice
1 date
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tsp miso paste
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp vanilla protein powder (optional)
Method:
1. Blend all ingredients in a blender for 30-60 seconds or until super smooth. Serve immediately, or you can spoon into a glass and freeze for an hour to firm up.
• Nut free: Replace almond butter with hulled tahini.
