Ingredients for Chocolate Mousse
1: Egg Yolks 2
2: Sugar 1/4 cup
3: Whipping Cream 1 cup + 1/4 cup
4: Dark Chocolate 1/2 cup
5: Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
6: Chocolates & whipped cream for decoration ( optional )
Preparation
First add 2 egg yolks & 1/4 cup of sugar into a bowl and mix it till it becomes fluffy & pale in color for 2 mints meanwhile pour 1/2 cup of whipping cream into a sauce pan and simmer it on low heat should be warm but not in boiling stage after whipping cream become warm off heat and pour it over egg mixture when still cream is warm and stir it continuously then re again pour all the egg & whipping cream mixture into sauce pan and cook it in low heat till it becomes thicken for 3 to 5 mints (Note if your vegetarian when whipping cream gets warm mix 2 tbsp of cornflour in some milk and add to whipping cream and cook it till it becomes thick )
After egg mixture thickens remove it from heat while still it’s warm add 1/2 cup of dark chocolate and 1 tsp of vanilla coconut mix it till chocolate dissolves cover it and put in fridge for 15 mints after 15 mints whisk it & re again put it in fridge for another 15 mints
Note : Chocolate shouldn’t get hard otherwise whipping cream won’t fold on it easily
Now whip 3/4 cup of whipping cream till becomes stiff peaks and fold it gently into chocolate mixture serve it in glasses and chill in fridge and decorate it with whipped cream & chocolates and serve
