JADU-TONA CHICKEN RECIPE:- Ingredients &
Recipe below:
– Marinate 1 kg chicken with 1 tbsp each of salt, red chilli powder, roasted crushed coriander seeds, roasted crushed cumin seeds, crushed black peppercorns and 1 cup curd. Let it sit for half an hour at least.
– Heat 5 tbsp oil in a Kadhai and add in 6 finely chopped onions followed by 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste. Fry on high for 5 minutes then on medium for 3 minutes until onions turn golden brown.
– Dry roast 1 tbsp stone flower, 12 almonds, 1 bay leaf, 2.5 inch cinnamon stick, 3 green cardamom, 4 cloves, 5-7
Kashmiri red chillies and 2 tomatoes on low flame for 3 minutes. Now grind all of it together into a paste.
– Add this paste in the kadhai and fry on high for 4 minutes then on medium for 2 minutes. Now add in the marinated chicken and fry on high for 5 minutes then on medium for 3 minutes. Next add in 1.5 cups of water giving it a good mix and closing the lid turning flame to low for 20 minutes checking and stirring in between. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
