Fruit & Cake Trifle
Ingredients for Vanilla Custard:
NESTLÉ MILKPAK Full Cream Milk 1 liter
Custard Slurry (Vanilla Custard Powder 5 tbsp + Milk 1 cup)
Sugar 1 cup
Ingredients for Creamy Custard:
NESTLÉ MILKPAK Whipping Cream 1 pack
Prepared vanilla custard 1 cup
Ingredients for Assembling:
Swiss rolls as required
Prepared creamy custard as required
Prepared vanilla custard as required
Mix fruits as required
Whipped cream as required
Red cherry as required
Directions for Vanilla Custard Preparation:
1. In a pot heat NESTLÉ MILKPAK Full Cream Milk and bring it to simmer.
2. Add custard slurry and cook until it starts to thicken.
3. Now add sugar and cook until sugar dissolves and desired consistency has reached. Your vanilla custard is ready. Set aside.
Directions for Creamy Custard Preparation:
4. In a bowl add NESTLÉ MILKPAK Whipping Cream and beat until fluffy and stiff peaks form.
Note: Chill the cream overnight in the fridge and whip it with an electric beater.
5. Reserve 1 cup of whipped cream for later use.
6. Add vanilla custard into the whipped cream and beat it again with beater. Your creamy custard is ready.
Directions for Assembling:
7. Take a serving bowl and add the layers of swiss roll, creamy vanilla custard, mix fruit, prepared vanilla custard, swiss roll, prepared creamy custard, whipped cream and mix fruit.
8. Lastly place red cherry on top and serve. Your Fruit & Cake Trifle is ready.
