Peri Peri Chicken Skewers are spicy, tangy, and super tender and it’s quick and easy to prepare.
Marinate the chicken pieces in peri peri sauce skewer it up and you can just bake/grill it. This peri-peri chicken is finger licking good! Must try this at home. You can make this in the stovetop grill, oven or air fryer.
Ingredients
Chicken boneless 1 lb, cut into bite sized pieces
Onion 1 small
Red pepper small
3 green chilies
2 garlic cloves
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp tomato paste
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp hot sauce
1 tsp salt to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp red chili flakes
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp paprika or adjust
Preparation
Blend all these ingredients and set aside.
Cut chicken breast into small bite size pieces.
Save 2-3 tbsp sauce before marination, mix 1 tbsp mayonnaise and mix it well and set aside as dipping sauce.
Marinate the chicken with the peri peri sauce.
Marinate for at least for 1 hr or overnight for better result in the refrigerator.
Soak the skewers in the water for 30-60 minutes in order to avoid burns
Place the chicken in the skewers and bake it in the preheated oven 400 F for 25-30 min. Flip them halfway and bake. Enjoy with the dipping sauce!
