Kataifi-Kadaifi (or knafeh) is a shredded phyllo dough very popular traditional Turkish Dessert (Also Albanian). It is so easy to prepare and super delicious. Let’s start by preparing the syrup In to a large pot over high heat, mix 3 cups water and 3 cups sugar When starts boiling, 3 tbs lemon juice, give it a stir and turn the heat off Moist the kadaifi with melted butter Mix it to make butter touch all the kadaifi Place of the half of the kadaifi on the bottom of the baking dish Push kadaifi down to compress Spread the grounded walnuts With the other half of the kadaifi, cover the walnuts Once again, compress using your hands On 200C (400F) pre-heated oven, bake for 30 minutes or the top is golden browned Wait to cool down in room temperature for 5 minutes, and pour the syrup you prepared

5 oz (150 g) unsalted butter melted
5 oz (150 g ) ground walnuts

3 cups sugar
3 cups water
3 tbs fresh lemon juice
