Watch and learn how to make eggless Caramel Custard Pudding at home that is a perfect dessert for this occasion. This custard is made in a fry pan and steamed. Ingredients:
1/4th cup Sugar
1 Cup Milk
1 Cup Curd
1 Cup Condensed Milk
2 tbsp Custard Powder
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
Method:
– In a non stick pan add sugar. Let it melt on low flame.Do not stir.
– Swirl the pan to caramelise the sugar.
– Once you get a light brown colour pour the caramel in a serving bowl. Keep it aside to set.
– In another bowl add milk, curd, condensed milk, custard powder and vanilla essence. Blend everything together.
– Pour this mixture oven the set caramel.
– In a frying pan heat some water. Put a plate at the bottom. Place the custard bowls on the plate. Cover it and let it cook for 20-25 minutes.
– Take the steamed custard bowls out and allow them to cool for 10 minutes.
– Insert knife from all sides and loosen it. Place it upside down on a dish and de-mould it.
– Refrigerate it before serving.
