Chicken Irani is a Persian dish. Persia after 1934 AD was renamed to Iran. This is a special dish from Arab culture. Its speciality is more use of almonds, saffron, nuts & white cream in its recipe.
Preparation Time :- 30 mins
Cooking Time :- 45 mins
Servings :- 3-4 persons
Ingredients:-
1. Chicken (मुर्गी) – 750 gm
2. Ghee / Clarified Butter (घी) – 125 gm
3. Salt to taste (नमक)
4. Red Chilli Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) – 2 tbsp
5. Coriander Powder (धनिया पाउडर) – 1 tbsp
6. White Cream ( क्रीम) – 100 gm
7. Almonds (बादाम) – 15-20
8. Ginger Garlic Paste (अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट) – 2 tbsp
9. Curd (दही) – 100 gm
10. Lime Juice (नींबू का रस) – 2 tbsp
11. A pinch of Saffron (केसर) diluted in warm water
12. Onions (प्याज) – 1 sliced and 1 chopped – total 2
13. Kewda Water (केवरा पानी) – 1 tbsp
