Today I made a lovely beef lasagne 🙂 Although you do need quite a lot of ingredients…many of them you’ll probably already have already 🙂 Highly recommended if you like Bolognese type recipes. This is SO tasty! I’ve listed everything I used down below.

(makes 6 generous portions)
I used-
Fresh lasagne sheets
200g (7oz) Diced onion
3 Garlic cloves (finely diced)
1.5 pounds (24oz) Minced beef or lamb
3 Tablespoons Olive oil
2 Tablespoons tomato puree
250ml (1cup) Beef stock
120ml (1/2 cup) Red wine
300g (10oz) Passata or canned chopped tomatoes
1 Teaspoon cinnamon
1 Teaspoon oregano
1 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1 Litre (4.2 cups) milk
170g (1.5 stick) Butter
170g (half cup) Plain/all purpose flour
100g (3oz) Parmesan cheese (grated)
100g (30z) Mozzarella cheese
2 Egg yolks
Olive oil for frying
Salt & pepper to taste
