Cubed Steak – Recipe Below……
INGREDIENTS
250g beef fillet (or 150g after removing fat)
8 snow peas
1/2 carrot
2 tsp minced garlic
salt/pepper
soy sauce
METHOD
Remove exess fat from the beef as necessary
Add salt and pepper evenly on the meat’s surface
Spread 1 tsp minced garlic evenly on the meat
Hit the meat with a tenderiser
Turn the meat over
Add salt, pepper and 1 tsp garlic (as before) and hit with the tenderiser again.
Put 1/2 tsp cooking oil in a frying pan and place it on a medium heat.
Place the meat in the pan and fry lightly.
After about 1 minute add the snow peas and carrot with a dob of butter.
Fry for another 2 minutes, stiring frequently, until the meat is lightly browned.
Turn off the heat and serve.
Serves 1 person.
