INGREDIENTS:
1. Rice, white or brown (I made two cups of rice for this recipe)
2. Choose a good thin tender steak, such as ribeye steak, tenderloin, strip loin or strip steak.
3. 6 baby red potatoes cut into bite size pieces
4. Onion, chopped (approximately 1/3 cup full)
5. Green bell pepper, chopped (approximately 1/3 cup full)
6. Olive oil (or whatever oil you have available)
7. 1 teaspoon of all purpose seasoning (whatever you have on hand that contains a good combination of flavors)
8. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
9. 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
10. 1 teaspoon of basil seasoning
11. 1 teaspoon of parsley
12. 1 teaspoon of browning sauce (soy sauce works too!)
13. 1/2 cup of beef stock
14. 1/2 cup of red wine
15. 2 cups of water

Directions:
1. Prepare your rice in advance (I made 2 cups for this recipe).
2. In a large bowl, combine the steak strips with your seasonings and browning sauce and mix until everything is well combined.
3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, coat the bottom of your pan with oil and then fry your steak until it’s nice and brown.
4. Add in onion and green bell pepper.
5. Add in your potatoes.
6. Add in beef stock.
7. Add in your red wine.
8. Allow it to simmer uncovered on a low-medium heat until liquid is reduced (keep an eye on it and don’t allow it to burn or stick to the bottom of the pan).
9. Once the liquid is reduced add in 2 cups of water and allow everything to cook on low-medium heat until potatoes and meat are fork-tender (add more water if your gravy gets too low and meat and potatoes are not yet tender to your desired likeness).
10. Remove from heat.
11. Enjoy!

Note:
You can precook the potatoes in advance in boiling salted water for approximately 8 minutes if you would like to accelerate the potatoes cooking time.
