INGREDIENTS –

Chicken – 500 gr
Onion – 4
Tomato – 2
Coconut – 5 tsp
red chilly powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Tamarind – 2
salt to taste
oil for fry

FOR PASTE –

Ginger – 2 inch
Garlic – 8-10
Coriander leaves – 4 tsp
Mint leaves – 4 tsp
Green chilly – 4

FOR XACUTI MASALA –

Cloves (Laung) – 10
Black peooercorns (kali mirch) – 1 tsp
Green cardamom (choti elaichi) – 4
Black cardamom (Badi elaichi) – 2
Dried red chilli (sukhi lal mirch) – 4
Bay leaf (tej patta) – 2
Cinnamon stick (dalchini) – 2
Nutmeg (jaiphal) – 1/2
Star anise (chakraphool) – 2
Poppy seeds (khaskhas) – 1 tsp
fennel seed (saunf) – 1 tsp
cumin seed (jeera) – 1 tsp
coriander deed ( akkha dhaniya) – 1tsp

STEPS –

1) Wash chicken and leave it aside.

2) Now take mixer grinder and make fine paste of using ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilly and salt also add 3 tbs of water to make fine paste.

3) Aply this paste on chicken and mix it well.

4) Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Saute button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.

5) Now saute all whole spics for 4 min after that take mixer grinder and make powder.

6) Now again on saute mode add half cut onion and coconut and fry it well (4-5 min). After that let it cool down and make fine paste with using water.

7) Next add oil and onion and fry it for 2 min. after 2 min add chicken and fry it for 5 to 6 min.

8) Now add all dry spices red chilly powder, turmeric powder, xacuti masala 3 tbs and fry it well.

9) Now add tomato and fry it for 4-5 min.

10) After that add onion and coconut paste, Tamarind juice, salt to taste and coriander leaves and fry it for 5 min.

11) Then add 2 cup of water and mix it well.

12) Place the closing lid over the top , Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position.
Ensure the lid is firmly closed and pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position

13) choose the ‘chicken’ pre-set menu option and select Quick as taste.

8) Pre- cooking will happen for few seconds and once the cooking is completed 3 Beep sounds will be hear and it will automatically switches to keep warm mode.
Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.

9) wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) It can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods.

10) Open the cooker & give a quick stir and GOAN SPECIAL CHICKEN XACUTI is done and ready.
