Hyderabadi Green Chicken – Made During Marriages and Functions || Hyderabadi Dum Ka Hara Murgh


Hyderabadi Green Chicken is a famous recipe of Hyderabad made during marriages and Functions. It is made using various spice, yogurt and a paste of roasted nuts.

METHOD
1.Chicken – 750 gram

2.To the chicken pieces add
Black pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Cardamom powder – 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder – 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tablespoon
Salt – as required
Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Yogurt – 200 gram
Green food colour – 3 pinches (optional)
Grind few coriander leaves, mint leaves and green chilies – 6 add this paste to chicken
Mix these ingredients well and keep aside

3.Now let us make another paste , for this we need
Deep fried onions – 2 medium sized
Roasted Pistachios – 20
Roasted Cashew nuts – 15
Roasted Almonds – 20
Grind this into a fine paste using little water
Add this paste also to the marinated chicken
And marinate it for 2 hours in refrigerator

4.Heat oil – 3 tablespoon
To it add
Cinnamon – 2 sticks
Cloves – 4
Caraway seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Saute for 10 seconds

5.Roast it under high flame for 5 to 8 minutes then lower the flame and cook till chicken turns tender

6.Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or chapati
