Hey Everyone!! Today I am so excited to share with you all this amazing and delicious recipe for my all time favorite red velvet cheesecake!! This recipe originates from Australia and has a creamy ricotta filling inside! Feel free to use red or pink food coloring, I’m actually using a rose color. This is the perfect dessert for a fancy dinner party, everyone will be so surprise
Ingredients:
Crust
1- 3 lb Package Chocolate sandwich cookies
1/4 cup almond flour
1/2 cup melted butter
Filling:
2- 8 oz bars softened cream cheese
2 eggs
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon food coloring
1/2 cup sugar
3 oz melted dark chocolate
Cocoa powder for dusting
Start by making the crust in a food processor. Add the almond flour, melted butter and cookies and pulse until all crumble.
Press into your spring form pan and place to the side.
For the cheesecake mix everything in the food processor or blender and pour into your pan.
Bake at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for about 1 hour until the center is firm and only has a slight firm jiggle.
