Holiday Pretzel Jello Salad Recipe:
1 (6oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed and sliced
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
¾ cup cold water
3 bananas sliced
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/4 cup milk
In a 9 x 13 Pyrex dish, dissolve Jello with 2 cups boiling water. Add strawberries, pineapple and cold water. Refrigerate until partially set; add bananas. Chill until set firm. Blend cream cheese and up to ½ milk together until smooth. Spread on top of set Jello. Sprinkle topping over cream cheese.
Topping:
1 cup flour
½ cup butter
¼ cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
Combine all ingredients with pastry cutter. Bake at 400 degrees in shallow pan for 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes until lightly browned. Cool. Sprinkle over Jello and cream cheese. Serves 15.
