This is the best vanilla sponge cake recipe which is quick and easy to make, you can never go wrong with this quick dessert recipes! The ingredients needed for this soft, fluffy and moist cake are:

Eggs
Sugar
Oil
Flour
Baking powder
Vanilla and lemon essence
How to: For this quick dessert recipes, in a bowl add eggs, whisk till light and fluffy, add sugar and whisk, then add oil and whisk, then add the flour and baking powder and mix but don’t over mix. Add lemon and vanilla essence and mix for a could of seconds and add the mixture into baking cake tin. Preheat oven, add the cake in oven for 45 minutes. To decorate the cake I whipped the cream and spread it on the basic, simple vanilla sponge cake, I added strawberry jam in between the layers as well as pieces of pineapple and white whipped cream, on top of the cake ive added strawberries dipped in chocolate, pieces of pineapple and pieces of kinder bueno on the cake as well as on the sides of the cake sprinkled with dark chocolate shavings and on the top of the cake sprinkled with white chocolate shavings.
