This is how I make my favorite green smoothie full of nutrition and disease fighting ingredients.

1 lb. greens (10-12 cups) packed into blender
1/2-1 C chia seeds/flax seeds
3 stems of fresh mint
1 inch piece of ginger
juice of 1 lemon
3 frozen bananas
Fill blender with water to the greens line. Blend for 1 min.
Add: 1 C each frozen mango and frozen pineapple. Blend for 1 min.
The rule is 75% greens to 25% fruit. I tend to use a bit more fruit in my smoothies knowing I will make up for it with the raw vegetables I eat during the day.
