This recipe is a special dish made during the celebration of Ramzan. This is basically a handmade pasta made with rice flour and cooked in a spicy sauce which has the flavour of biryani. This dish is very creamy without the use of any cream to it. This dish is called with different name in different part of tamilnadu as thekkadi and etc. This is normally is prepared with mutton and chicken stew.
This dish has dumpling or pasta or kozhukattai made with rice flour, cooked in the rich broth of protein prepared with the spices. Though this dish is prepared with lot of spices it is well balanced to avoid the overpowering of spices. Since it has same flavour similar to biryani this dish is called as brother of biryani.

1, Oil 3 tsp
2, whole Spices bay leaf, green & black cardamom, cloves
3, Onion ¼ cup
4, Ginger and Garlic paste 2 tsp
5, Tomato 1 big size
6, Chicken ½ kg
7, turmeric powder ¼ tsp
8, Chilly powder 1 tsp
9, Garam masala 1 tsp
10, Salt As required
11, Water 3 cup
12, Rice Flour 1 cup
13, Mint leaves a handful
14, Green chilly 3 no
15, Lemon juice 1 tsp
