TIPS : Prep all your ingredients before cooking.
Cook on high heat throughout the entire cooking process.
Ingredients
5-6 cloves of garlic minced
1 ½ inch ginger minced
5-6 spring / green onions
1 lbs of eye of round steak or sirloin cut very thinly
1 red bell pepper/ capsicum
1 carrot
½ cup of bamboo shoots
1 ½ tbsp basil leaves
10- 12 green beans
For the sauce
2/3 cups chicken stock or water
1 ½ tbsp corn starch
¼ cup of soy sauce
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 tbsp chilli flakes ( depends on your discretion)
Process
Combine all ingredients for the sauce in a bowl and keep aside.
In a pan, heat some Oil ( do not use olive oil) on real high heat, and add ginger , garlic and green onions. Sauté for few seconds.
Add the beef slices or strips and cook till it’s no longer pink.
Add in all the remaining veggies and cook for 2 -3 mins. Do not overcook them. ( biggest stir fry mistake )
Add your sauce and mix for 2 mins.
Serve with Basmati rice enjoy!
