3 lbs Split chicken breast (use approx 1/4 lb of the chicken skin)— You may also just use 2.5 lbs of chicken breast
1.5 tsp onion powder
1/3 cup water
1-2 tsp oil (I used EVOO)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbs corn starch
1 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp celery seeds
1/2 tsp Accent (MSG)
1.5-2 tsp kosher salt
Tempura batter:
1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup corn starch
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 egg
10-12 can club soda
1/2 cup ice cubes
Copycat Chick-Fil-A Sauce (no measurements)
Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
yellow mustard
mayo
honey
Other:
Vegetable Oil for deep frying
1 cup plain flour
** Made 34 large nuggets
**Freeze 2-4 hours
**Deep fry med/high heat approx 5 mins
**Be sure to use the tempura batter right away
