All of other chicken gravies Gongura Chicken Curry is famous and topical traditional Andhra Recipes. Mainly it’s one of favourite for telugites. It can be served with Chapati, Roti, Biryani and even with white rice also. As this have a rich fibre content in leafy vegetables it also healthy. Make sure taste twice while adding chilli powder & salt because Sourness in this gongura will absorb all the spiciness & leads tasteless.

For Marination
Chicken – 750 gms
Salt – 1 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder – pinch
Ginger Garlic paste – 1 Tsp
Curd/Yogurt – 50 ml
For Blanching
Oil – 1 Tsp
Gongoora Leaves – 2 medium Bundles
Chillies – 3 no’s
Water – 50 ml
For Gravy
Ghee – 2 Tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1 Tsp
Fennel Seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Onion chopped – 1 Cup
Chillies – 3 no’s
Ginger Garlic paste – 1 Tsp
Tomato Chopped – 1 small cup
Turmeric Powder – pinch
Garam Masala – 1 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder – As per taste
Coriander Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Water – As Required
Salt – As per Taste
Curry Leaves – 1 Stick
Pepper Powder – 1 Tsp
Coriander leaves – for garnish
