All you need
chicken cut into medium pieces 1 kg
sliced shallots 1 1/2 cup
chopped ginger
sliced garlic 15
curry leaves chopped 2 tbsp
coriander powder 3 tbsp
chilli powder 2 tbsp
garam masala powder 1 tsp
pepper crushed 1 tsp
salt
coconut oil 2 tbsp
vinegar 1 1/2 tsp
water 1/2 cup
coconut oil 2 tbsp if needed
Method
Take chicken pieces in an uruli. Add shallots,ginger,garlic,curry leaves,coriander,turmeric,chilli, garam masala, pepper and mix well. Mix so that all masala is well coated on chicken pieces. Add vinegar and coconut oil to chicken and mix.
Keep this chicken for 30 minutes. Switch on the flame ,keep uruli in stove and cook chicken adding water. When chicken starts boiling , reduce heat to medium, cook chicken for 15 minutes.
Add coconut oil if needed and slowly fry chicken in low flame for 30 minutes.
Now the colour of chicken will change and masala is well coated on chicken.
Nadan chicken fry is ready to serve.
