It’s berry season and there is no better time than now for a blueberry smoothie! Healthy, nutritious and oh so tasty, it serves as the best drink to replenish those spent electrolytes!
Smoothies are a great way to get nutrition in your body in a delicious way. This smoothie doesn’t contain extra sugar if you hadn’t noticed. So make sure to use a nice ripe banana for sweetness.
The chia seeds also add a couple of grams of protein per tablespoon and also help thicken up your smoothie to a milkshake consistency.So let’s get started!
Ingredients for blueberry smoothie:
1 ripe banana
1 cup of blueberries or a bit more
1 Tsp. chia seeds
3 tbsp Oats
1 Tbsp sugar ( optional)
1 cup of cold milk
1 scoop of ice cream as topping.
