Fried Chicken Recipe- Crispy Fried Chicken
Ingredients for fried chicken recipe
For chicken marinade:
Chicken–250 gms skinless and boneless
Curd-1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Salt-1 tsp
½ tsp-turmeric powder
Garam masala-1 tsp
White Vinegar-1 tbsp
For the spicy masala powder
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Pepper powder-1 tsp
Salt-1 tsp
Chaat masala-1 tsp
For frying the chicken:
All purpose flour-1 cup
Corn starch-1/2 cup
Oil-for deep frying the chicken
Fried chicken recipe preparation
In a large bowl, mix curd, gingergarlic paste, red chilli powder, white vinegar, salt, turmeric, and garam masala until they mix well. Add chicken to the marinade and mix well to completely coat. Cover and keep aside or keep in fridge for four hours or overnight.
Mix chilli powder, salt, chaat masala, and pepper powder well in a small bowl and keep this spicy masala mixture aside.
Heat sufficient oil in a big pan to fry the marinated chicken.
Mix all purpose flour/maida and corn starch in a large plate. Using tongs or hands, transfer marinade chicken pieces into the mixed flour and toss well to coat the chicken. Next, fry the chicken in the medium hot oil, turning occasionally, until lightly golden brown and crispy (around 6-7 minutes). Then transfer the chicken to a large bowl. Sprinkle the spicy masala mixture over it, toss constantly until well coated.
Transfer the chicken to a serving plate and serve hot.
