Hariyali chicken or Green chicken is a delicious Indian dish made with flavors of fresh spices and herbs. It goes great with jeera rice, rotis, naan, chapathi. There are lot of dishes which are cooked in green paste made with chilli, coriander and mint leaves. This dish turns out to be most flavourful and delicious dish with lots of green in it. This is a quite simple dish with simple ingredients. This is different from other curries.I have a given a detail recipe of the same. Do try and share your feedback.

Hariyali chicken gravy (Ingredients & Making Process)

Marination Time – 1hr 15 mins
Cooking Time – 20 mins
Serves – 3 pax

(Ingredients)
Chicken – 250 gms
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Curd – 1 tbsp
Cashews – 10 Nos.
Green Chilli – 4 Nos.
Fried Onions – 1/4 cup
Coriander Leaves -1/2 cup
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala – 1 tsp
Salt, Water & Oil

(Making Process)
1st Marination
Chicken – 250 gms
Salt
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Curd – 1 tbsp
Mix and coat well
Marinate for 15 mins

For 2nd marination
In a Blender jar
Mint leaves – 1/2 cup
Cashews – 10 Nos.
Green Chilli – 4 Nos.
Fried Onions – 1/4 cup
Water
Coriander Leaves -1/2 cup
Blend to a smooth paste

Add the green paste to the chicken
Mix and coat evenly
Marinate for 1 hr
Place a pan Add Oil – 2 tbsp
Add the Marinated Chicken
Cook for 5- 7 mins on Med Flame
Add Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala – 1 tsp
Mix well
Add Water
Add Salt
Give it a stir
Cover and Cook for 10mins on low flame
Oil has started releasing
Ready to serve
