Ingredients and Method: Chilli Chicken
Chicken 500gms
onions large chopped
ginger garlic paste
capsicum without seeds
garlic
ginger
cornflour
whole purpose flour (maida)
garam masala (whole spices)
red chili powder
salt
coriander powder
soya sauce
vinegar
red chili sauce
tomato sauce
and oil
Method
first we will marinate the chicken
add ginger garlic paste
add salt half a spoon
add garam masala half a spoon
add coriander powder half a spoon
add red chili powder half a spoon or to taste
now, mix it well
now leave the marinated chicken for about half an hour
marinated chicken is ready
now, for fry, we will prepare the mixture
first, pour some maida (whole purpose flour) in a bowl
– add some salt
– add one spoon corn flour
– mix it well
now, in another bowl, add 2 spoon of corn flour and make a solution by adding some water
now, coat all the marinated chicken pieces first with dry mixture and then with liquid(2 times)…
now, fry the coated chicken pieces in hot oil on medium flame for about 9-12 minutes or till chicken is cooked nicely
chicken is fried, remove them in a separate plate
now, add finally chopped ginger and garlic in heated oil in pan and saute it for about 3-4 seconds
then add chopped onions and saute it till pink
now, add capsicum and saute it for 1 minute
add red chili powder as per taste
addjust little bit of salt because we already used salt in fried chicken and soya sauce also contains some salt
add red chili sauce about 2 spoon
add soya sauce about a spoon and mix it well
now, add tomato sauce about 3 spoon and mix it well
now, add 1 spoon of solution of cornflour into the mixture
now, add the fried chicken pieces and stir it well
now, switch off the flame and finally add 1 spoon of vinegar
note: add vinegar only after switching off the gas
