Gulab Jamun
Ingredients:
Making the Gulab Jamun dough:
Milk Powder – 1 Cup
Plain Flour – 1/2 Cup
Baking Powder – 1 Tsp
Cooking Oil – 4 Tsp
Milk – 1/2 Cup
Sugar Syrup:
Sugar – 1 Cup
Water – 2 Cups
Cardomon – 3 to 4
Method:
Making the Gulab Jamun dough:
Milk Powder – 1 Cup
Plain Flour – 1/2 Cup
Baking Powder – 1 Tsp
Cooking Oil – 4 Tsp
Mix it well
Milk – 1/2 Cup
Mix to create a smooth dough
Add small amounts of milk if necessary
Sugar Syrup:
Sugar – 1 Cup
Water – 2 Cups
Cardamom – 3 to 4
Mix it well
Bring it to a boil
Cover it and keep it on the side
Making the Gulab Jamun:
Make small balls out of the dough (around 15 to 16)
Fry on a low heat/flame until golden brown
Add into the lukewarm sugar syrup
Leave them for 15 to 20 minutes to soak up the syrup
Serve and Enjoy!
