Ingredients :

Chicken : 1 kg
Large onions : 2
Medium tomatoes : 5
Thick curd : 1 cup/250 ml
Chilli powder : 1 tablespoon
Salt : 2 teaspoons or as per taste
Lemon juice : 1 tablespoon
Ginger garlic paste : 2 tablespoons
Garam masala : 1 teaspoon
Pepper powder : 1 teaspoon
Few drops of red food colour
Oil : 4 tablespoons

For Achari masala

Mustard seeds : 1 teaspoon
Fenugreek seeds/methi : 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds/jeera : 2 teaspoons
Coriander seeds/dhania : 2 tablespoons
Kalonji/nigella seeds : 1 teaspoon
Saunf/fennel seeds : 1 teaspoon
Dried red chillies : 2

For tadka/tempering

Oil : 2 tablespoons
Dried red chillies : 5
Curry leaves : 4 to 5 strings
Mustard seeds : 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds : 1 teaspoon
