Food Sparks is Presenting you today the 2nd episode of the summer special Mango recipes video series #amrakhand recipe showcasing delicious & yummy mango recipes for all those Mango lovers.
Mango Shrikhand/ Amrakhand is a traditional Maharashtrian recipe made using hung curd, fresh mango puree. It’s served as dessert specially in summers
You can pair this Amrakhand / Mango shrikhand with Poori Aloo, serve on it’s own as a festive dessert, or as a sweet treat for any occasion!
INGREDIENTS :
1.YOGURT 3 CUPS
2.MANGO PULP 3/4 CUP
3.SUGAR 3 TBSP
4.CARDAMOM POWDER 1/8 TSP
5.NUTMEG POWDER 1/8 TSP
6.KESAR STRANDS 10-15
7.MILK 2 TBSP
8.ALMONDS & PISTACHIOS 5-10
STEPS :
1.Firstly, take a thin cloth or cheesecloth and place it on a bowl and add 3 cups of curd.
2.Further, tie the cloth and hang it overnight and keep it in fridge until all water drains.
3.Untie the cloth and transfer strained curd or hung curd to a bowl.
4.Blend it for 2 mins until smooth texture achieved
5.To this, add powdered sugar,cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, kesar milk, some nuts (optional)
6 Mix it well and then add mango pulp im imtervals and blend together until smooth
7 Garnish with mango rose and some almond , pistachios and saffron strands and serve chilled and enjoy.
