Apple & Blackberry crumble recipe

Ingredients:
150g Blackberries
6 Granny Smith apples
1 cinnamon stick/1tsp cinnamon powder
1tsp of vanilla essence
3 tbls sugar/honey (optional)
150g of plain flour
50g of butter/nut butter
1 cup of oats

(1) Organic apples don’t need to be peeled but non-organic is better to peel the waxy skin off & slice the apples into small pieces. Cook on medium heat in a pan (blackberries don’t need to be cooked). Add 1 cinnamon stick or cinnamon powder along with vanilla essence & cook for 5 minutes or until soft.
(2) Add the plain flour & butter, then mix them together. Add the oats & 1tbsp of sugar/honey (Optional). Combine all ingredients until it forms into a crumble type texture.
(3) Layer half of the crumble onto an oven tray then add all of the cooked apples over the first layer of crumble. Squish the blackberries between your fingers & layer them on top of the cooked apples then cover with the second half of the crumble.
(4) Cook in the oven for 15 minutes or until the top crust turns golden brown.
Serve with warm vanilla custard.
