Apricots are one of my favorite fruits, and when I saw baskets of fresh, bright orange apricots at the Farmer’s Market this week, I had to buy them and whip up this Apricot Flax Smoothie, with Turner’s help of course!
Apricots are packed with Vitamin A (good for your skin) and antioxidants. Flax seeds are an amazing source of vegetarian omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin E, and the spinach is chock-full of chlorophyll, iron and potassium. And all of these equal feeling amazing, and thus, looking amazing.
This smoothie is tart, energizing and cleansing — it will definitely get you going in the morning, hopefully leaving you with a little spring in your step.
