Arrowroot powder, sometimes called arrowroot starch or simply arrowroot, is a starchy flour similar to tapioca or potato starch. It’s Grain-free ,Gluten Free & very healthy.Many of its health benefits are associated with its starch content, which may promote weight loss, treat diarrhea, and stimulate your immune system.Arrowroot pudding is an absolute melt-in-your-mouth kind of a dessert that tastes best when chilled. Here I describing about two types of Arrowroot Dessert Recipes ………????
Ingredients:
Arrowroot Pudding::-
Arrowroot powder – 1/4 cup.
Water – 1/2 cup
Milk -1 1/2 cup.
Sugar – 3 1/2 tbsp or As per taste.
Cardamom – 2 no.
Arrowroot Halwa ::-
Arrowroot Powder – 1/4 cup.
Water – 1/2 cup.
Water for cooking – 1 1/2cup.
Cardamom – 2 no.
Ghee – 2 to 3 tbsp.
Jaggery Powder – 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp (Or add 5 tbsp or 2 1/2 cubes)
Grated coconut /desiccated coconut – 2 tbsp.
Tip 1:To make a vegan version of this dish you can use coconut milk (not too thick & creamy) in the place of regular milk.
Tip 2:Arrowroot pudding tastes best when served chilled.
