Welcome back to my channel. Recipe for today is, One pot roast chicken. I love this recipe and it’s a hit with everyone and the roast chicken made this way, stays very moist and full of flavour.
This pot roast chicken has very rich and creamy flavour and everyone loves it.
It’s a must try recipe specially for upcoming Eid. Best served with paratha, chutney and puris.

RECIPE

FOR MARINATION;
6 pieces chicken legs.
2 tbsp crushed ginger.
Half cup vinegar.
Marinate chicken in vinegar and ginger and leave it for 2 hours. Take the chicken out and prick it very well with fork.

YOGURT MIXTURE:
1 cup yogurt
salt to taste
1 tsp coriander powder (Dhaniya powder)
1 tsp cumin powder (Zeera)
1 tsp crushed black pepper.
1 tsp kasuri methi (Dried fenugreek leaves)
1 tbsp chaat masala
2 tbsp cream
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
Mix everything together and keep aside.

TEMPERING:
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp ginger julienne
lemon wedges of 2 big lemons
5-6 green chilies

PROCEDURE:
Pan fry the chicken first until it has brown marks on it.
Pour all the mixture on top of the chicken once it’s brown and keep flipping the pieces to coat the chicken well. Cook the chicken on medium high heat. Once the chicken is cooked, sauce is all fully absorbed by chicken and its roasted, take a frying pan, melt the butter in it. Quick stir fry ginger, chilies and lemon wedges and pour it on top of chicken before serving.
