Asian Teriyaki Chicken – Chinese Style Recipe
Welcome to Xiao’s Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia, in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes.
Ingredients:
500g Chicken Breasts
3 Cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
100ml Teriyaki Sauce
100ml Honey
1 Tbsp Crushed Black Pepper
Salt To Taste
Method:
1. Heat 2 Tbsp of oil in the frying pan over medium heat
2. Add the chicken breasts into the pan and fry for 5 minutes each side until golden
3. Turn heat to low, cover the pan and cook continue for 8 minutes – turn the chicken breasts half way through
4. Add the teriyaki sauce, honey, black pepper, garlic and a pinch of salt. Stir and mix well
5. Turn heat to high, cook for further 3 minutes – stir frequently
6. Place onto a dish and enjoy
