Recipe: 2 Servings
½ cup berries OR ½ cup fresh squeezed orange juice (sweet taste)
1 tart/green apple (astringent taste)
3 Handfuls of dark leafy greens – spinach, kale, swiss chard, cilantro, parsley, arugula (bitter/pungent tastes)
1 lime or lemon, juiced (sour taste)
1 knob of ginger, peeled (pungent taste)
1-2 cups purified water ~ adjust according to preference
Optional:
2 shakes of fresh cracked pepper for extra spice
Sprinkle of salt for extra absorption (only for vata prakruti)
½ tsp green powder superfoods – moringa, spirulina, chlorella
½ tsp superfood powders – ashwagandha, triphala, maca
