Beef Tandoori is a sort of curry made up with the combination of different spices and it can be usually served hot with Pulau or Naan or anything according to taste. It is made on the stove-top without using any Tandoori masala or any other readymade spices.
The written recipe in short:
• Cubed boneless beef- ½ kg
• Red chili powder- 2 tsp
• Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
• Coriander powder- 2 tsp
• Cumin powder- 2 tsp
• Whole spices powder- 1 tsp
• Salt- 2 tsp or as requirement
• Black pepper- 1 tsp
• Ginger garlic paste- 2 tbsp
• Papaya Paste- 2 tbsp
• Lemon juice- 1 tbsp
• Yogurt- ¼ cup
• MIX WELL WITH THE BEEF
• MARINATE FOR 2 HOURS
• TAKE ½ cup oil in a pan
• Finely chopped Onion- 1/2 cup
• FRY UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
• ADD THE MARINATED MEAT
• FRY TILL COLOUR CHANGES
• Tomato paste- 3 tbsp
• MIX IT WELL
• Water- 2 glass or as required
• Bring it to boil
• COVER AND COOK ON LOW FLAME UNTIL BEEF TENDERS
• COOK UNTIL OIL SEPARATES
• Charcoal-Oil process/ coal smoke for five minutes by turning off stove
• Fresh coriander- As required
• Green chilies- 2
